This Privacy Policy explains how Listaso Inc. (“Listaso”, “we”, “us” or “our”), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit listaso.com, contact us, or use our software, mobile apps and related services (together, the “Services”).
By using our website or Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
1. Who we are
Listaso builds sales, delivery, inventory and B2B eCommerce software for distributors, wholesalers and manufacturers. Our main office is at 5966 S Dixie Hwy, Ste 300, South Miami, FL 33143, United States. We also have a team in Antiguo Cuscatlán, El Salvador.
2. Two kinds of information
Customer Data. When a business subscribes to Listaso (a “Customer”), it and its users load and create information in the Services: its own customers, products, prices, orders, invoices, payments, routes, inventory, photos, signatures and form answers (“Customer Data”). The Customer owns and controls its Customer Data. We process it only to provide the Services, following the Customer’s instructions and our Subscription Agreement.
If you are a customer of one of our Customers (for example, a store that buys from a distributor that uses Listaso) and you have a question about your information, please contact that business directly. We will help them respond.
Information we control. We decide how to use the information we collect to run our own business: website visits, demo requests, contact details, account and billing information, and support conversations. The rest of this policy mainly describes this information, and also explains how we handle Customer Data.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Contact details, such as your name, company, job title, email, phone number and address, when you request a demo, fill out a form, subscribe to our newsletter or talk to our team.
- Account details for you and your users, such as names, emails, user names, roles and settings.
- Billing details, such as billing contact, address and payment information. Card payments are handled by our billing and payment providers.
- Support requests, including the messages, files and screenshots you send us.
- Anything else you choose to share, such as answers to surveys or reviews.
Information collected automatically:
- Website usage, such as pages visited, links clicked, referring site, browser, device type, approximate location based on IP address, and dates and times of visits.
- Service usage and diagnostics, such as log-ins, features used, sync activity, errors, app crashes and performance data.
- Cookies and similar technologies, described in section 9.
Information from our mobile apps. Depending on the features a Customer turns on, our apps may use:
- Location of the device during work hours, to show routes, record visits and deliveries, and let the Customer follow its team in the field.
- The camera and photos, to scan barcodes and take pictures of products, shelves and deliveries.
- Signatures captured on the screen as proof of delivery or acknowledgment.
- Bluetooth, to connect printers and scanners.
- Storage on the device, so the app can keep working without internet and sync later.
Your device lets you allow or deny these permissions. Some features will not work without them.
Information from others. We may receive information from the accounting and business systems a Customer connects to Listaso (such as QuickBooks, Sage, SAP or NetSuite), from scheduling, billing and support tools we use, and from public sources such as business directories.
4. How we use information
- To provide, set up, sync and maintain the Services, including onboarding and training.
- To answer questions and give support.
- To bill for the Services and manage accounts.
- To keep the Services secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems.
- To understand how the website and Services are used and to improve them.
- To send service messages, such as updates, security notices and usage alerts.
- To send news and offers about Listaso. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To follow the law and enforce our agreements.
We use Customer Data only to provide and support the Services for that Customer, to keep them secure and working properly, and as the Customer instructs. We do not sell Customer Data, and we do not use it to market to our Customers’ customers.
5. Sami and AI features
Sami, our AI assistant, answers questions using the Customer’s own Listaso data. To answer, the question and the data needed for the answer are sent to the AI service providers we use to run Sami. They process it only to produce the answer for the Customer. Reports Sami creates, such as Excel and PDF files, are available to the Customer’s users who have access to Sami.
A Customer may also connect its Listaso data to another AI assistant it already uses, such as ChatGPT or Claude. When it does, that provider’s own terms and privacy policy apply to what it receives.
AI answers can contain mistakes. Please check important numbers before acting on them.
6. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as described here:
- Service providers who help us run our business and the Services, such as hosting, email, forms and newsletters, billing and payments, customer support, scheduling, analytics and AI services. They may use the information only to work for us.
- Systems the Customer connects, such as its accounting system, printers or online store, when the Customer sets up those connections.
- Our team in the United States and El Salvador, on a need-to-know basis and under a duty of confidentiality.
- A buyer or successor, if Listaso is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, bankruptcy or sale of assets.
- Authorities or others, when the law requires it or when needed to protect the rights, safety or property of Listaso, our Customers or others.
- Anyone else, with your permission or at the Customer’s direction.
7. Where information is stored
We are based in the United States and our team also works from El Salvador. Our service providers may store or process information in other countries. When information moves between countries, we take steps to keep it protected as described in this policy.
8. How long we keep information
We keep Customer Data while the Customer has an active subscription. When a subscription ends, we delete or return Customer Data within a reasonable time, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. We keep account, billing and support records for as long as we need them for the reasons in this policy, such as accounting, tax and legal obligations. We keep marketing contacts until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
9. Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are needed for the site to work and to remember choices such as language and light or dark mode. Others help us understand how visitors use the site, through tools such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, some parts of the site may not work as expected.
10. How we protect information
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information, including encrypted connections, access controls, and confidentiality duties for our team. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a security incident that affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
11. Your choices and rights
- Access and correction: ask for a copy of your personal information or ask us to correct it. Account users can update much of their information in the Services.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your personal information, except what we must keep for legal or legitimate business reasons.
- Marketing emails: unsubscribe with the link in any marketing email, or write to us. We will still send service messages.
- Location and camera: turn these permissions on or off in your device settings.
Depending on where you live, such as California, other U.S. states or Canada, you may have additional rights under local law, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, and the right not to be treated differently for using your rights. To use any of these rights, contact us as shown below. We may need to confirm your identity before we respond. If your information is part of a Customer’s data, we will pass your request to that Customer.
12. Children
Our website and Services are for businesses and are not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
13. Links to other websites
Our website and Services may link to websites and services run by others, such as app stores, social networks and scheduling tools. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top. If the changes are important, we will tell our Customers by email or in the Services before they take effect.
